Tales of Zestiria the X will be premiering this July 3 on Tokyo MX.
The complete airing schedule is as follows:
- TOKYO MX - July 3 - every Sunday at 11PM JST
- SUN TV - July 5 - every Tuesday at 12:30 midnight JST
- KBS Kyoto - July 5 - every Tuesday at 12:00 midnight JST
- TV Aichi - July 5 - every Tuesday at 2:05AM JST
- BS11 - July 5 - every Tuesday at 12:30 midnight JST
The English version of the official website still has the airing as "Worldwide Summer 2016," so we're not sure if they'll be having an actual simultaneous airing or if there will be a few days delay.
In addition, there will also be an advanced screening of the anime's first four episodes at Cinema Mediage in Odaiba, Tokyo on June 25, with other cinemas also holding a live viewing. At Cinema Mediage, there will also be a talk with voice actors Ryota Ohsaka (Mikleo), Ai Kayano (Alisha) and Noriko Shitaya (Lailah) as well as director Haruo Tonosaki and production producer Hikaru Kondo. A live performance of the ending song will also be done by fhana. Pre-orders for tickets are now open at 4,000 Yen for the Cinema Mediage venue and 3,500 Yen for the other cinemas.
The Tales of Zestiria the X anime (read as "the Cross") was first announced during Tales of Festival 2015 as the "Tales of 20th Anniversary Animation." The anime will be by ufotable and will air this July 3, 2016. Its tagline is "The Journeys of the Shepherd go beyond Zestiria." Check out the official website here.
