At Otakon this year (and on Twitter), anime licensing company Discotek Media announced that they have licensed Tales of Symphonia: The Animation for an English Blu-Ray release, coming some time in late 2022.
Tales of Symphonia!
All 11 OVA episodes on 2 discs gives you the entire story from beginning to end (some of them are quite long, needed both discs for this one.)
Very pretty show. A bit early in HD digital animation, so a handful of rough edges. pic.twitter.com/JilrSNcdez

The set will include all eleven episodes of the anime, which Discotek claims that some are "pretty long." The series will be in Japanese with English subtitles on two Blu-Ray discs. Any extras are currently to be determined. And once again, the release date is currently set for some time in late 2022.
The series is also available for streaming on Crunchyroll, also licensed by Discotek Media.
I wish I had something profound to say for this rendition of "Flamzeron breaks the reporter illusion", but I'm afraid I don't. Discotek has a great track record of releasing older anime that were licensed and out of print (Tales of Phantasia: The Animation being one), obscure anime, and nice surprises such as this. Well, surprise maybe isn't the right word, since they had already licensed the series for streaming prior. Either way, I'm excited! I missed out on watching this anime during its run, so I'm happy to add it to my collection and watch it for myself! Now, if only they could snag the Tales of Eternia anime...
Speaking of which, the aforementioned Tales of Phantasia: the Animation's Blu-ray English release is set for September 2022. Pre-orders are currently open on Amazon.
