In celebration of Tales of Symphonia's 20th anniversary this year, the game is getting its own Festival this October.
Announced in today's live stream, Tales of Symphonia will be having its own event to celebrate the game's 20th anniversary, promptly named Tales of Symphonia Festival ~20th Anniversary~.
The Festival will be held on October 21, 2023 (Saturday) at Osaka Orix Theater. Curtains open at 4PM JST with the event proper at 5PM JST. Tickets will be sold at 16,500 Yen (tax included), with advanced lottery for Asobi Store Premium Members currently ongoing here. Attendees will receive a copy of the reading script with signatures of the cast (printed on, not actually signed). The Festival will also feature a skit that will only be seen there. The event seems to be bigger than the usual Anniversary Parties held. The event's official website is live.
The key visual is currently temporarily and will be updated later, but has been announced to include all party members. The artwork is by Production I.G.
The cast includes the voice actors of all party members, as well as a live performance by misono.

In addition, from now until September 18th, they are currently accepting entries for illustrations and celebratory messages for the Festival. In other news, the Tales of Festival 2023 Bluray will be released on December 15, 2023. Depending on where you order, the pre-order bonus differs. However, most of these shops are Japan-only. Pre-orders are also open via CDJapan, which ships worldwide.
Pre-orders for a Tales of Festival 2023 Photobook is also currently open via AsobiStore, which features a photo compilation of various Tales of Festivals, which appears divided per character.
Tales of Symphonia is the fifth mothership title of the series and the only title to be released for the Nintendo GameCube. It was then later ported to the PlayStation 2. It has a direct sequel escort title in the form of Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, and the two were later ported to the PlayStation 3 as a single release in the form of Tales of Symphonia Chronicles. The game is a distant prequel to Tales of Phantasia.
