The Tales of 20th Anniversary TV Anime revealed in June is now known asTales of Zestiria the Cross, which clarifies the previous trademark. The teaser site's URL was also changed to reflect the new title. Not much else has been revealed as it is still set to air in 2016.
Tales of Asteria will be getting a new chapter known as "Light of the Guidance & the Crystal of Earth". Sorey & Mikleo are featured as main characters in this chapter. It will be released in Spring 2016. The Dengeki Online article has their card art in high-resolution.
Tales of Link's story will be getting an update with Part 4 sometime in Spring 2016. It'll contain fully voiced lines for Zephyr's dialogue in Part 3. Unisons Attacks will also be implemented in the app with pair units, where you will have a higher damage output, inflict or recover from status effects.
There was a new video for CR Tales of Destiny which showed off some of the character songs you can hear in the game. It also showed off new scenes that you can view on the Famitsu report. Said video hasn't been uploaded yet, and there's still no set release date for the machine.
Finally, Tales Festival 2016 will begin on July 9th and 10th, 2016 at the Yokohama Arena. The theme of the event is a "Summer Festival".
Tales of Zestiria
Tales of Zestiria is the Tales of 20th anniversary title and was released in Japan for the PS3 on January 22, 2015 and for the PS4 on July 7, 2016. It was also released in North America and Europe for the PS3, PS4 and PC Digital on October 16 and 20, 2015. The game features Sorey, a young man set out to be the Shepherd. The game is a distant sequel to Tales of Berseria. An anime series by ufotable, called Tales of Zestiria the X is currently airing worldwide.
Tales of Zestiria the X
The Tales of Zestiria the X anime (read as “the Cross”) is a TV series adaptation of Tales of Zestiria that was first announced during Tales of Festival 2015 as the “Tales of 20th Anniversary Animation”. The animation is done by ufotable. The first season aired during Summer 2016, with a second season confirmed for 2017. Its tagline is “The Journeys of the Shepherd go beyond Zestiria,” and shows hints of connections with Tales of Berseria. Tales of Destiny
Tales of Destiny is the second title to be released for the Tales of Series and is the first in the entire series to get localized for North America. It is the first game to feature character designs by Mutsumi Inomata. The game, originally for the PS1, eventually got a full remake for the PS2, as well as a Director’s Cut featuring a story arc from popular Tales character Leon Magnus’s point of view. Tales of Destiny 2 is its direct sequel.
