Introducing three new characters among the Adventurers.
Here is the next batch of Tales of Luminaria character trailers, featuring three characters from the Adventurers. Bandai Namco is releasing one trailer a day, but for the purposes of the website, we're spacing them out to every two to three trailers.
Edouard Rouquier (エドワール・ルキエ, edowaado rukie)
This kid's a real pain in the neck.

- A young wanderer traveling the world after a government takeover forced him to leave the Miasui Icedom. The experience has given him an aura of apathy. While working as a mercenary, he meets Lydie and travels with her as her bodyguard, later joining Ana-Maria's party. Even with his off-putting personality, his innate good nature has not changed, and despite his complaining, he tends to put great effort into helping others.
Lydie Delacroix (リディ・ドラクロワ, ridii dorakurowa)
I am a genius, so naturally... I predicted that this kind of outcome would come up.

- A girl who was working hard at research and absorbing knowledge while in the mansion where she was under de facto house arrest. Her father, an influential merchant in the Huazar League, left her there like warehouse stock from an early age, and she spent her free time reading the books he dealt in. As a result, she has become a child prodigy with unparalleled knowledge, and now she sets out on a journey to prove her hypothesis regarding her concerns about the world.
Raoul (ラウル, rauru)
I'm a strapping, battle-ready, young archaeologist.

- Birthday: August 10th (for some reason, the year of his birth is not mentioned in his bio, but he mentions in his trailer that he's 31)

- A self-described archaeologist who claims that his job is to investigate and study ruins. He, in fact, has a profound knowledge of the subject, but isn't particularly trusted. He was mistaken for a grave robber during an expedition, which got him tangled up with Ed and Ana-Maria, but they're still suspicious about his identity. Although treated as an old man by those around him, he stubbornly insists that he is still young.
You'll note that the end of each character trailer, there is a sneak peek on the next character to be introduced. From Raoul's trailer, it seems the next character will be Charles.
Pre-registration for Tales of Luminaria has already begun for iOS and Android.
Tales of Luminaria is an upcoming Tales of Series original title for iOS and Android released November 2021. The game was first announced during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Unlike the recent Tales mobile games, Luminaria has been reported to have its own original world with only original characters and no previous Tales characters, as well as an English dub. Unfortunately, the game has announced termination of service worldwide on July 19, 2022.
