Pre-orders are currently open for Tales of Festival 2021 Blu-ray, covering the events of the Festival held last November 2021.
Housing the Blu-ray package is a new illustration by ufotable, featuring the top three winners of the Tales of Series Character Popularity poll (you can view the full results here).
Dohalim from Tales of Arise sits on the throne, with Tales of Zestiria's Mikleo (2nd place) and Tales of Arise's Alphen (3rd place) by his side. And let's not forget little Hootle, who also won Best Mascot Character, sporting an adorable little crown.
The Tales of Festival 2021 Blu-ray covers both days of the Festival and will be released on May 27, 2022 for 13,200 Yen (tax-inclusive, 12,000 Yen if no tax). Pre-orders are currently open at the following shops:
Tales of Arise is the latest mothership title (new classification: original title) of the Tales of Series which was first announced during Microsoft’s Press Conference in E3 2019. The game was released for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC Digital via Steam on September 9, 2021 for Asia and Japan and September 10, 2021 for the rest of the world. The game features use of the Unreal Engine 4 and works on the theme of tradition versus evolution of the series.
Tales of Zestiria is the Tales of 20th anniversary title and was released in Japan for the PS3 on January 22, 2015 and for the PS4 on July 7, 2016. It was also released in North America and Europe for the PS3, PS4 and PC Digital on October 16 and 20, 2015. The game features Sorey, a young man set out to be the Shepherd. The game is a distant sequel to Tales of Berseria. An anime series by ufotable, called Tales of Zestiria the X is currently airing worldwide.
