Day 2 of Tales of Festival focused more on the mobile games.
Tales of Asteria is getting a collaboration with four IdolMaster titles - IdolMaster: Platinum Stars, IdolMaster: Cinderella Girls, IdolMaster: Side M and IdolMaster: Million Live. The first given a sneak peek was for the Platinum Stars one. You can view a trailer of the collaboration below:
The collaboration will also feature a few Tales of characters dressed up as idols! The official site of the entire collaboration is here.
Other announcements include Tales of Festival 2016 and Tales of Zestiria the X collaborations for Tales of Link and Tales of Asteria in Japan:
The Tales of Festival 2016 campaign for Tales of Link will be until July 18, while the Tales of Zestiria the X campaign for Tales of Link will be until July 17, where you can get a 4-star Mikleo through an event quest.
In addition, there will be a special gacha for Tales of Link where the above characters can be obtained (until October 15).
They also introduce 6-star characters. Awakening a 5-star character into a 6-star will have it be updated with a special illustration, like so:
5-star Judith is on the left, the 6-star Judith is on the right.
The Tales of Festival 2016 campaign for Tales of Asteria will be until July 11.
The Tales of Zestiria the X campaign, which will be a login bonus type wherein completing it will grant the player a 5-star Sorey character, will run until September 25.

Tales of Zestiria the X
The Tales of Zestiria the X anime (read as “the Cross”) is a TV series adaptation of Tales of Zestiria that was first announced during Tales of Festival 2015 as the “Tales of 20th Anniversary Animation”. The animation is done by ufotable. The first season aired during Summer 2016, with a second season confirmed for 2017. Its tagline is “The Journeys of the Shepherd go beyond Zestiria,” and shows hints of connections with Tales of Berseria.
Momo is a long-time big Tales fan who covers Japan Tales of events for AC. She also helps out with translations of material and merchandise updates. She loves Gintama.
