As promised, here's a new, extended trailer for Tales of Berseria. The end of the trailer also announces that the game will be released on August 18, 2016 in Japan! UPDATE: The Japanese box art, special editions and pre-order bonuses have also been announced!
The new trailer is an extended or longer version of the previously released third trailer. You'll note new animated scenes as well as new characters in this new trailer. You can hear a longer version of FLOW's theme song for the game, BURN.

The game's release date in Japan is on August 18, 2016 and will be available for the PS4 and the PS3. Retail price for the regular edition is8200 Yen + Tax. That will be the same price for the downloadable version. Pre-orders for the game will start tomorrow, April 14, 2016.

Early Pre-order Campaign
- Pre-ordering the game between April 14 to July 11, 2016 will get you a special serial code that you can use on the Tales Channel + portal website. This will allow you to access a special page via the site. There will be three things included here, the first one being a talk by the voice actors. The 2nd and 3rd bonus will be announced early May and early June respectively.
First Press Pre-order Bonus
- A special serial code will be included in first press copies of the game. This serial code which will again be used at the Tales Channel + portal website will allow yo to view a special skit called "Special Dramatic Chat - Melon Gel" which will feature the game's characters. In addition, you will also get codes for PS4 and PS3 themes by ufotable.
Limited Edition versions of the game will be available for Japan, specifically the usual Famitsu DX Bundle and the Lalabit Market Bundle.
The Famitsu DX Bundle, priced at 11,582 Yen plus tax, will include the following:
- The game (PS4 or PS3 versions)
- A Bienfu plush
- Two A3-sized posters featuring art by Ufotable
- A set of 6 acrylic key chains
- A set of 6 clear files featuring character art
The Lalabit Market Bundle, priced at 12,500 Yen plus tax, will include the following:
- The game (doesn't mention which, but will most probably be either PS3 or PS4)
- Two Chibi-Kyun Chara figures - Velvet and Laphicet
- Short novel "Witch Talks ~Magic-filled World~" plus script and drawings
- Special box
In addition, ordering the game from the following shops in Japan will give you different bonuses:
