He leads his own platoon, the Six God-Generals, as well as the Oracle Knight's main army. He is a powerful fighter, and Luke always looks up to him. Van weilds swords in battle. >>SPOILERS!! Van is the main antagonist in Tales of the Abyss. He used to be a servant working under the Gardios family, and his name then was Vandesdelca Musto Fende. When he was but eleven years old, he was used as an experiment on hyperresonance, thereby destroying Hod. When he found out that the destruction was written in the Score and no one even decided to stop it, his anger grew and he swore to extract his revenge.
