He uses martial arts in battle, coupled with a bunch of powerful Fonic Artes. He always wears a mask when fighting. He may be young, but he is one of the rational people aboard the Oracle Knights. Like said above, Sync uses martial arts in battle. >>SPOILERS!! At one time in the game, Guy was able to knock his mask off, and Guy realized that he looked incredibly similar to Ion. True enough, Sync is actually one of the replicas of the original Ion. He was, however, a reject, and was thrown into the mouth of Mt. Zaleho. He was saved by Van, and was used by him to get his plans done. Sync didn't care anymore though, for he saw his life as nothing but someone else's. Despite that, he still hates Van. Like Ion, he is able to use Daathic Fonic Artes, but not as similar to that of the orginal Ion, that's why he was discarded.
