>> Implementing CuteNews Registration T_T

a745
As you can see from yesterday, a few people weren't able to comment because the captcha was implemented T_T... So like I said before, this means that I'll need to have commenters register to our CuteNews before they can actually comment on something.

And don't worry, registering is very easy (no email verification whatsoever >_<). First off, at the Other navigation bar, you'll see a link called CuteNews Register. Just click that, and it'll ask for your desired username, nickname, password, and e-mail. Once you now see the confirmation message that you have been registered, just go back to the homepage and comment using your username. Whenever you try to comment now, the system will ask for your password, and there, you're done.

I'm sorry if I had to do this, but there was no other choice to stop those STUPID SPAM BOTS ARGH...

>> We're Back to Using Captcha... >_<

a745
As you can see, we annoyingly have a bunch of spam comments in the first 5 news posts... So yeah, it's back to the drawing board all over again. I'm currently installing that captcha hack to our CuteNews again (the one with it having an image verification code). If, again, it prohibits some of our viewers to post comments, then I would sadly have to result to having commentors register to our CuteNews in order to comment. I know this sucks for you guys, but we have no choice in the matter.

Just my request, once the captcha is installed please, PLEASE try to comment on this news article. If you guys can comment then hey, all's great, but if you guys can't comment, then please say so in our shoutbox over there at the navigation bar. We need as many people as we can to cooperate on the matter...

And I'm currently sick with the flu, so yeah, it kind of bugs me to worry about something when I'm sick >_<

>> Tales of Symphonia the Animation Vol 3 Subbed

a745
To those interested, I just subbed the Vol 3 of Tales of Symphonia the Animation. All subs are okay except for part 2, which had, ahem, two typos, but I'm too busy to correct them >_<

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLoa1iPu_iQ
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnEw_blA7T0
Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj2YN7dySkw
Part 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZ_FiFZNaAg

Download is not available for the subbed version, unless people actually want it.

So yeah, enjoy =)

EDIT (October 30, 2007): The site had 453 individual hits yesterday, which happened to be on my 17th birthday XD. Thanks a lot to all those who visited. That alone is a great birthday gift for me~!! -a745

EDIT (October 31, 2007): As requested, the subbed version -> Download

Also, the Tokuten CD (Containing the songs/bgms used in volume 3, including the song Collet sang, "Uchi E Kaerou." -> Download

>> Lloyd confirmed for Soul Calibur Legends

SyphonVectorman
He has his own page on the official site. Though, I don't know much to say how he's in it.. It does mention something about Exspheres in his profile.

He's still 17 in the game, and you can check out the high resolution picture in his profile. He will be a playable character. Uh, rejoice Symphonia fans.

>> Tales of Innocence Updates~

a745

Yeah, so first off, we have info on the same new features I posted about two news posts back. Here's a refresher just in case you guys don't want to scroll down:

† Style and Ability: As stated before, Tales of Innocence characters won't stick with one role, like "attack type" or "support type" like those in the past Tales games. ToI features the "style system" wherein you can allocate any role to the characters. Through this, you can customize a character to become powerful and potent in various roles such as withcraft or melee fighting. Once a character with a current style levels up, he/she will learn abilities unique to that style (Think AD Skills).
† Weapon Customization: Materials gained from battles and/or the guild system can be used to forge/synthesize weapons with different additional properties.
† Comrade AI Customization/Strengthening: Like before, characters could be customized to do what the player wants in battle (100% Use of TP, etc.). In ToI, that feature is improved by letting the player assign 5 different priorities AI characters must follow.
† Guild System: Just like in Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology, ToI will have the guild system. Players are to partake in different quests assigned by the guild, and once done, characters earn gald, grade points, and guild points that can be exchanged for items from the guild.

There is new info, however =). ToI will be utilizing the DS' wireless communication feature by letting your friends who also have the game participate in battles you are currently in. This really helps if there's a monster you have trouble defeating and your AI is becoming annoyingly useless wink

Also, this feature can also be used in the game's guild system. You and a friend can undertake a difficult quest together using this and sharing save files, and the gald, grade points, and guild points earned after clearing such a quest will be shared among you.

In other news, according to Yume Hanabi from the Tales Forum, a commentary audio of the Tales of Symphonia the Animation stated that the first four episodes will cover only the Sylvarant Arc, and that they are going to make more episodes(no number specified) to cover the Tethe'alla Arc~! That means we get more than 4, people!
By the way, we've reuploaded the ToS OVA to Sendspace and stuff, and we now have the SendSpace link for ToS Vol 3 up. Just scroll down, or go to the Tales of Symphonia Video page.

>> Tales of Symphonia the Animation Vol 3 Download~

a745
Yes, what you've all been waiting for! Tales of Symphonia the Animation Volume 3! It's already the third episode and still they haven't reached Tethe'alla -_-; That's why we're hoping there'll be more than four episodes! But let's not get out hopes up just yet :

Anyway, here:
Tales of Symphonia the Animation Volume 3
Format: DivX AVI
Filesize: 230MB
Download: MegaUpload 1 / MegaUpload 2 / SendSpace
This episode features a new ending song sung by Collet (or rather, her voice actor) entitled "Uchi E Kaerou" (Let's Go Back Home).

Expect screenshots of this episode soon. I know I haven't uploaded the screenshots for volumes 1 and 2, and I apologize for that... And again, we apologize for utilizing MegaUpload for this :

>> Tales of Innocence Updates

a745

A few new updates have been made to the Tales of Innocence official site in the Tales Channel.

Okay, first off, a new item has been added to the preorder bonus. That said item is an exclusive Tales of My Shuffle card featuring Tales of Innocence. The card will be limited only to the preorder bonus and it will not be for sale in the future. The design they posted is a pending design though.

Next up, a new battle video has surfaced. This video solely features the game's new system, the "Dimension Stride Linear Motion Battle System." The video just shows Ruca and the others doing their stuff on the battle field.

In addition to my mod's, SyphonVectorman's post, we have the image for the Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut premium box. The game is already up for sale in Play-Asia for $69, including the Normal and Asia versions for $60 and $55 respectively (approximate).

EDIT (October 22, 2007): We have new magazine scans from VJump of the game courtesy of Ryo Valdurin from the Tales Forum.
