Tales of Festival 2020, which was moved to March 2021, will be having a paid live streaming option.
Revealed in today's Tales of Festival 2020 info live stream, we have a bunch of new info for the upcoming event this March.
Tales of Festival 2020, which was originally scheduled, well, last year, but was moved due to the ongoing global pandemic of COVID-19, was moved to March 6 and 7, 2021. The event will still be held at Yokohama Arena. Ticket sales will begin once again, beginning with Asobi Premium Store members tomorrow.
Main Illustration
The Festival's theme this time around is to "cheer on" or to "support". The main illustration features the voice cast that will be available for the days, but the main heroes will also get illustrations in commemoration of the 25th anniversary:
Cast List
The Festival's cast is again divided into Day 1 and Day 2. The main MC's are Masaya Onosaka (Zelos Wilder from Tales of Symphonia) and Rina Satou (Velvet Crowe from Tales of Berseria). They will be available on both days.

Multi-Angle Live Viewing
Given the current pandemic, for the first time ever, Tales of Festival will be having an online viewing option, similar to what they did for the recent Tales of Orchestra Concert. The option will be a paid service with tickets available soon via the Asobi Store. The difference with this one and the Orchestra one is that the event will have various cameras set up around the venue and it will let you view the event from different angles at your discretion. There is also a light stick function which can change colors depending on what you want/what is needed for the event. Also similar from the Orchestra live stream is a character stamp feature.
Live Covers of Theme Songs and Game Sounds
From the Tales of Dream Project, the voice actors that have covered some of the Tales of openings will be performing their singles live during the event. Also for both days, Motoi Sakuraba will be performing an original live of the games' sounds.

Character Ranking
Similar to the character rankings we've been having in the past, the Festival will have a specific ranking for the characters regarding "cheering on" or "supporting". Criteria are as follows:
- The character you want to cheer on (male and female)
- Character you want to be cheered on (male and female)
- Character you want to sing you a song to cheer you on (male and female)
All-Star Skit
As part of the usual special skits, each day will have a special skit featuring the main heroes and their partners. Day 1 (March 6) will have the main heroes, while Day 2 (March 7) will have the partners/heroines.
Tales of Festival Merchandise
And lastly, it wouldn't be Tales of Festival without the merchandise! Showcase during the stream include fans, acrylic stands, button pins, an official curry plate and mini drinking glass, tote bags, cases and more! Pre-orders begin tomorrow via the Asobi Store.
