As a half-elf, Genis saw him as a great and trusted friend. He appears as a 14-year old to the party at first, and appears to be a trusted ally. Later in the game, it is revealed that he is actually Yggdrasil, the mightiest of angels. His ideals about peace in their worlds is truely genuine, but the death of his sister Martel changes all of that. Many find it hard to accept him as a villain because his intentions, if analyzed, are actually for the better, but of course, humans won't just stand by and watch each other be killed. To those who still haven't played Tales of Symphonia, the staff here at AC would like to emphasize that Mithos is a BOY.
