| >> About the Game |
|
  >>Tales of Fandom Volume 1 is, as the name implies, a game that would probably appeal more to avid fans of the Tales Series. This is basically a bunch of minigames, puzzles, and skits with characters based on those of the first three Tales games (ToP, ToD, and ToE respectively). If you're not a BIG fan of the series, then don't bother. But if you are, and you want some extra stuff (the game has a gallery mode full of images never released to the public), then go on ahead and buy it. The game has 2 kinds of packagings, the Cless version (featuring Cless, Rutee and Farah on the cover) and a Mint version (featuring Mint, Rid, and Stan on the cover). This does not indicate any difference in the two packaging's content, but the most avid of fans buy the two versions just to add to their collection. |
| >> Game Modes |
  >>There are four game modes in total, with the exception of the last one, 'cause it doesn't seem much of a "game" mode.
Kao Venture - This is a bunch of skits that focus on the Tales characters (plus the original character Primula). These scenes contain some skits from the past, present, or possible future of the Tales characters never seen before in their respective games (there's one about Cless and Chester's childhood, and there's one about Lion's liking for sweet stuff, specifically Marian's pudding). All skits, thankfully, are voiced, so you may find yourself really getting into the story.
Kao Dora - A bunch of mini dramas done by the Tales characters. It's quite similar to Kao Venture, only this focuses more on something like a play done by the characters (there's this one skit about how Rid, Farah, Meredy, and Keel exchange bodies). You'll see that some of the Tales characters are watching the performance happen on a stage from front row seats.
Craymel Lab - This is something like the Tales version of Tetris, wherein the blocks are actually Craymel crystals, or cages. You get to pick the characters of the Tales Series as your players, and you can use Craymel summons as well. This game is also available in the Tales of Mobile games, but the ToFVol1 version came first.
Gallery - Contains a bunch of images used in the Tales games, including Namco's prototypes.
