The Tales of Festival '08 Site just updated the Tales of Festival merchandise list with a bunch of Vesperia stuff. It says there that these are also available via preorders online, but they didn't state exactly how to place an order =\
New scans of Tales of Hearts up, courtesy of RyuHiroshi from the Tales Forums. They reveal a bit more info about the two previously announced characters, Beryl Benito and Kunzite.
Beryl Benito: Age: 18 Years Old (O_O) Height: 148 cm (that little box pointing to her height says that she claims she's actually 155 cm, and that she wants people to round it off to 160 cm =P) Weight: 38 kg
Kunzite: Age: 2000 Years Old Height: 193 cm Weight: 77 kg (armor off)
In the scans are also the names and concept art of the characters' Soma. The Soma are in two types, as weapons and as a special piece of their armor. A part of the Soma that look like gems are called "Core Crystals." Part of these translations are courtesy of Rpgmonkey:
Asteria [ASUTERIA] - Shing's. Composed of Shing's sword and the armor he wears around his left arm. Ell Rondo [ERURONDO] - Kohak's. Composed of Kohak's baton and and something that seems to be a ring. Gale Arc [GEIRUAAKU] - Hisui's. Composed of his cross bow and an arm band. Folseus [FORUSEUSU] - Innes'. Composed of her big blade and her boots. Thiers [TIERU] - Beryl's. Composed of her paintbrush and her witch hat. Vecks [VEKUSU] - Kunzite's. Composed of the sting-like part of his armor, and another part of it.
As for the translator. Is there anyone here who's willing to help out in our subbing of Tales of the Abyss? The staff for subbing is actually complete, but there are still a few issues regarding the translators' availability. If there's anyone there willing to help out on translations, please just comment here!
Two new scans of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 from GamerKyo reveal new playable characters, a new character, plus two of the four new job classes (Dual Sword class and Monk class). I'm not sure if the scan was cut or not, but this scan only shows two.
New character: Panille [Romaji PANIIRU] Not too sure on this one, but he/she/it is a similar creature to Mormo and also flies around. From what I can make out from the scan, he/she/it is a somewhat laid back character.
If you look closely on the lower right part of the second scan, it also reveals in a battle screenshot that Kanonno this time around is playable.
This other scan also lists the Tales of Series characters to be included. It doesn't, however, state whether these characters would be playable or not.
The ToH Main Site has been updated with two new commercials for the game, one CG and one Anime version. Sadly, we don't get to see Shing yelling "KOHHAAAKK!" yet. Downloads have been added over at the Tales of Hearts Video Page.
As for the Tales of Festival, its main site has also been updated with more detailed info on the events to be held, items to be sold, as well as the Tales Series personalities to be present. And lastly, another review for Vesperia, from G4TV's show, XPLAY. They gave Vesperia a 4/5. I watch XPLAY regularly, and I have to say this is a pretty high score they've given for a JRPG. Thanks to Bee for the heads up .
If you'll notice the FanArt Gallery of the Gallery, you'll notice that they've been updated with a WHOLE BUNCH of new stuff from existing contributors, plus new contributors. I've yet to edit the actual Fanart, Avatars, Wallpapers and Signatures pages, but you can just visit that for now if you want to view them. To note, we also have a bunch of pending fanfictions to be added. Please forgive my slowness.
Now, about the 10th Anniversary Soundtrack that comes with the LE version of Vesperia, we want your opinions. Should we host them up here? Now before you go "YES!" please consider this first. The majority of soundtracks we have up in the site are Japan only, that's why we put them up, to give our visitors access to them. BUT the 10th Anniversary OST is something available in the US, and something Namdai US themselves have arranged. Wouldn't it be bad to put it up?
And lastly (to those interested), it looks like the official community for the upcoming PS3 version of Eternal Sonata is now open. Endless Nocturne has the same mechanics as our well known Tales Brigade, only, well, it's promoting Eternal Sonata XD. If you're a fan of ES, please do join, and add me as a friend as well.
