Just today, August 2, Namco Bandai held its "Tales of Series 2010 Lineup Presentation" with the theme "Tales With" at Shinagawa, Tokyo. In this event, the staff of the Tales of Series gave more detail about the upcoming three new Tales titles: Tales of Graces f, Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 and the "15th Tales of Anniversary Title", as they currently refer to it. This particular post will focus on Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3.
Apparently, a lot of work is being done in order to include the said 80 Tales characters into RM3. Out of the said 80, only 76 will actually be playable. The characters' voice actors have been busy doing new recordings for the past three months.
The story of the game this time around focuses on Kanonno Grassvalley (official romanization, voiced by Aya Hirano), a member of the guild Ad Libitum which has set its base on the skyship Van Eltia. In this world called Luminatia, the world tree is known to produce an important mineral named Hostia, considered an important energy source within the world. The goal of Ad Libitum is to help those who are deprived of their blessings from the tree. Producers say the world of Luminatia is much wider than the previous RM worlds.
Other features include: - Character Pattern Making will be improved, such that you can alter the height of your character or equip additional accessories. - Cut-ins will be available to the Tales characters during Mystic Artes. Asbel's, Norma's and Yuri's cut-ins are shown in one picture. For Tales of Legendia characters who did not have specific Mystic Artes in their original game, they will have new Mystic Artes for themselves. - Instead of the previous camera angle where you see the back of the character (which they call back behind format), they will apply a bird's eye view of the camera instead. - Members of the Tales of Community will be able to connect their game to the community site. - Data Install will be available for faster loading times. - They mentioned something about ToG's Around Step system possibly being in the game.
This particular image here has a collage of Tales characters showing the included characters. The new characters (those not yet included in both RM1 and RM2) include Shirley Fennes (ToL), Chelsea Torn/Tone (ToD), Judith (ToV), Meredy (ToE), Kohak Hearts (ToH) and Norma Beatty (ToL). Please point out if you see someone else new.
Lastly, a "The Best" edition of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 will be available on September 29 for 2,800 Yen.

The event reveals the names of Asbel and Sophie's new Blast Calibers: Asbel's is 天覇神雷断 (Tenhajin Raidan) and Sophie's is シャドウ・モーメント (Shadow Moment). Aside from these, they also showed various screenshots of the new events (focusing more on the post-ending events) which will be available in HD.
The theme song will once again be by BoA (I'm unsure if it's still Mamoritai ~White Wishes~ or a new song, though it'll probably be just the same.) The story promotion trailer will also be available from the PlayStation Store starting this August, though no specific date was given.
The teaser sites for Tales of Graces f and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 have just recently opened. The URLs for the two have been available for a few days now actually, but it had a page about Gundams before. Visiting the ToGf page will let you listen to a BGM from the PS3 game. The previous Tales of Graces site has now become a portal site for both the PS3 and Wii game versions.
Also, this new article from Famitsu shows us one new screen shot each of ToGf and of RM3 and a better look at the concept art for the upcoming Tales mothership title for the PS3.

>> Tales of Graces f and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 Revealed
Yes, yes, a bit late. Blame my prelims and my horrible grades.
New scans from Weekly Shonen Jump have just revealed three new games (the other in the previous post) of the Tales of Series! This is most likely the "special announcement for the summer" that the Tales staff was talking about in celebration of the Tales of Series 15th anniversary in Japan. The scans reveal a new Radiant Mythology 3, and what seems to be a port of Tales of Graces.
The ToG port, to be named Tales of Graces f (efu), will be coming out on Winter 2010 for the PlayStation 3. There will be new story scenes in this game, new post-ending events, new game secrets, improved visuals and new Blast Calibers with new cut-ins (shown for Asbel and Sophie so far). Scenes in the scan are supposedly from the new post-ending events, as Asbel already has his heterochromia. As you can see from the art in the scan, Sophie will have a new costume for herself. I actually prefer her new costume over her old default one.
The new Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3 will be once again for the PlayStation Portable and will be released sometime in 2011. The game features another Kanonno, Kanonno Grassvalley (kanonno gurasubaree, no official romanization yet) to be voiced by Aya Hirano (keep in mind that each Kanonno in each RM game are different persons with different lives, not one and the same). She is described as "a gentle 15-year-old young girl who is a member of the Ad Libitum guild". The game is said to feature a total of 80 different characters from the Tales of Series, with Asbel Lhant from ToG also taking part (you can see his Mystic Arte cut-in the scan). The scan reveals that Norma Beatty (Tales of Legendia) and Kohak Hearts (Tales of Hearts) will also be playable in this game. Also according to the scan, it seems the previous 50 characters from RM2 will be available, with an additional 30 new characters.

>> New Tales of Series Mothership Title Coming to the PS3
A new mothership title for the Tales of Series has also just been revealed from the new set of Weekly Shonen Jump scans. No other information has been revealed for this new game except for it being for the PlayStation 3 and a concept art (click image above to view scan). Its release date is still to be announced, without even a year as to when it will be released. We'll keep you posted for any new information regarding this.
After experiencing a few difficulties here and there, we are finally done with the English release. Big thanks to the staff who worked hard on this release! Torrents, MegaUpload downloads and downloads from the bot (visit #abyssalchronicles@irc.rizon.net) are all available. Please be forewarned of slow seeding, as my connection isn't that great. Included is an extra from the DVD, the Eizou Tokuten Picture Sound, which is like an epilogue of the movie created in the same way as Tales of Vesperia's epilogue was done (use of drawings). The source used is a 36GB BD ISO of the movie. Also, we are unsure of the movie's rating, but be aware that the film contains scenes of violence and heavy presence of blood.
And please do keep on seeding once you've downloaded it! Thanks!
