Which translates to: "When I mentioned being on sale for the Wii, I meant Tales of Graces, and not Tales of Vesperia! I truly apologize to everyone for the misunderstanding!!!!" (09.11.09)
So there we have it, false alarm =\.
(Nov. 6, 2009) Rumors about Tales of Vesperia making its way to the Nintendo Wii have been floating around for a little while now. The source of this is the personal blog of Rikiya Koyama, Duke Pantarei's voice actor. In his recent blog post, this particular paragraph started the rumor:
Which is translated into: "Tales of Vesperia is for the Xbox (360), and then for the PS3, and now, it's coming to the Wii. Right, even a theater anime has been shown to the public (b-but I don't appear in it?), and the drama CDs have also been successively released!! I did a lot of recordings for the Volume 6 drama CD!! This time, I get a lot of turns in it!! Once it's on sale, I'll notify you guys again!!"
A lot of us, including myself, believe that he was just referring to Tales of Graces, seeing as it's the most recent Tales game coming out for the Wii. But throughout the whole paragraph, he was discussing Tales of Vesperia (and its drama CD). You would at least believe that he was referring to Vesperia when he mentioned the Wii. For now, we'll classify this as a rumor... or a misunderstanding.

It doesn΄t sound like it would happen, but if it does I would be more than happy to play it. I don΄t really care if the graphics would look crappish as long as the game itself isn΄t watered down to horrible levels. If this turns to be true, then this almost surely will become Phantasia GBA V2.0; a port that fails to represent the original game

OMG I own a Wii and a PS3 and a Xbox360.. I own Vesperia for both the 360 and the PS3 currently... I REALLY do not want this game to come out for the Wii honestly, as much as I like Vesperia I don't want it to become the FF7 of the Final Fantasy series... If it does come out for the Wii they are really aiming for it to become like FF7.... Which bothers me A LOT... They need to focus on other Tales of games besides Vesperia.... I REALLY like Vesperia but I like Phantasia and Hearts, EVEN Abyss.. Can't we make a sequel on Abyss? Come on! XD Hope this didn't offend anyone and sorry if it did, it's just my opinion, I also see a lot of people seem to agree with me on Abyss being like the best story in the series and that it needs more attention from the company.

I may not have liked Vesperia, but I'd get it if it came to Wii....>.>'

You know what. If TOV does come out on the wii i would be happy. I mean if they had all the stuff the PS3 had then i would be happy. But i'm pretty sure it's a misunderstanding for TOG.
@Seph: If the game where to come out on Wii can't the game just come out with multiple disk?

Maybe he's referring to the Vesperia costumes for Graces? He sure does make it sound like there's gonna be a port... If it had the PS3 content, I wouldn't have to get that damn PS3 just for Vesperia... |3

I think it would be great, if ToV would come out for the Wii. Then I would be able to play it... But I think that this is a misunderstanding, too. Unfortunately.

It sounds more like a misunderstanding. I mean, a Wii version of Tales of Vesperia doesn't compute with me.
I mean, if I hear about another port of Tales of Vesperia, a PC version sounds more plausible than a Wii version, and even then, realistically, I still don't see that happening.
(Not to mention, just how many jRPGs ever had PC versions in some form? I can only name four within 5 seconds: Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Grandia II, and The Last Remnant).

Yeah I heard this a while ago, and while it would be good to have it on Wii, it would prolly just be a watered-down 360 version. If it had all the extra battles, events, characters, etc. that the PS3 version has, I'd be all over that!! hehe, but yeah, I too think this is a big misunderstanding. Why waste so much effort on porting Vesperia to every platform out there--especially the Wii which would require re-modeling and re-texturing (among re-everything else'ing) everything? ^__^U
