So anyway, I know all of you have noticed that a bunch of the media in the site aren't working... It's either they are SendSpace/SaveFile links that have expired, or are MegaUpload links that are temporarily not working. For the MU links, those will be fixed in due time, it's just MU that's having the problem. For the SendSpace links, we sort of have no intention of reuploading to SendSpace considering their short time duration... And for SaveFile, I think I've mentioned this before, but we're trying to transfer most of our files to MediaFire instead, on account of they don't have a time limit for files.
Now, I'd do all of these right away if 1.) I didn't have school; 2.) I didn't have to pay so much for internet; 3.) If the connection here was a bit more faster; 4.) My co-admin wasn't so busy 'cause we've been missing each other online a lot already; 5.) My finals weren't coming up.
And on the contrary, that's the case. I've been way too busy that I lack time to finish up everything in one sitting. I apologize for the epic lateness, but it's hard working by myself. That's why in the near future, we may ask someone new to be part of the staff as someone to handle all the media
Again, I apologize for all the dead links there, so hopefully, I'll get them up soon.

>> ToS-R Page Fully Updated + Site Updates + An Apology T_T
Ah yes, site updates. Sadly, I couldn't finish everything within the weekend... I had to do a PowerPoint Presentation for Chemistry, plus a video for my community service class. -sigh-
Anyway, I've finished all the updates that needed to be done for the Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk/Dawn of the New World Page. This includes the character info for the characters (returning cast included), the systems in the game (monster catching, sorceror's ring, unison attacks, etc.), the storyline, and the ToS-R Gallery. And if you'll notice, there are "Read More..." links on the system and the storyline. That's pretty much what I plan to do with the rest of the Tales pages, that's why it's taking up so much time. The same format has already been done for the Tales of Phantasia Page.
And I'd like to take this time to apologize to Friki no Fansub. The originals of the scans of the collector's edition of the ToS OVA came from them, but I had no idea that the ones we posted are the ones without their watermark. That said, I've deleted the ones in the gallery and replaced them with the ones with their watermark. To those who want to download the whole thing, the link is here, 'cause we've deleted the old SendSpace link. Not to worry, their watermark is found in inconspicous parts of the scans. We'd like to say thank you to Lulu for letting us host them, and as well as we're sorry.
Speaking of scans, I've managed to upload 7 out of a whole lot more scans of the ToDDC Premium Box Artbook. The files are big, and are a pain to clean. I'd like to thank my classmate Ate Divine for scanning these for me You can find them here.
As for new affiliates, we're now affiliated with Nintendo Sanctum, a forum focusing on Nintendo games, Tales Zelda Union, a Tales of, Zelda, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, etc. Fansite featuring a whole lot of info. Their info is quite extensive. And SheezyArt's Tales Community, Tales of the Club.
EDIT: Almost forgot... The Tales of the Tempest OST and the Tales of Legendia cutscenes links have been fixed. Also, to those who are wondering what's up with ToS OVA Vol 1's MegaUpload link, that's just how MegaUpload is. Just check back every now and then and that link will be back.

>> ToV & ToS-R Officially Announced + New Info/Screens + ToDDC Guidebook
Thanks to this article from ALLRPG.com, Namco Bandai has made the official announcement for the localizations of Tales of Vesperia for the XBox 360 and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World for the Nintendo Wii. The article pretty much contains things we already know about. They do however, have some very HQ screenshots up, with new ones for both. They also announced that both will be out later this year.
ToV is looking to be quite impressive graphics wise. You'll get a glimpse of the world map in the screens, the towns and a dungeon-like area, a huge ship, a spell that looks a bit like Negative Gate, and a close-up of Yuri, the hero. As for ToS-R, they just revealed the same info we all know already. All screenshots have been added to the gallery. Have fun viewing them~
Also, thanks to Kasn from the Tales Forums for pointing it out, DegenkiOnline has just released a bunch of new screenshots for ToS-R. It shows a lot of Alice and Decus, plus a few of Emil and the rest. You can find them here.
AND Minako Takahashi, the one in charge of ToS-R's localization happened to drop by the Tales Forums as Messenger Squirrel (it's her since even the mods confirm it's her) and gave us some info on how ToS-R's doing. She said:
"Hi everyone, this is Minako, and since IGN ousted me as the one in charge of localizing this title (wasn't expecting that), I figured I should introduce myself. Peter has done an amazing job as the localization producer for the entire Tales series, but localizing two Tales game in one year would have been asking way too much from him, so I have been assigned to this title (since I worked on TOS under Nao). However, this does not mean that Peter won't be involved at all. He is the Tales guru, and I will be consulting him along the way.
Anyway, I am happy that all of you are excited about this title. I'll try and pop-in occasionally and answer any questions that I can (or allowed).
As for the screen shot, it is temporary. We are currently in the process of picking an English font for the game and coming up with skill names.
I can't go into specifics of the game like battle and story, so I won't be able to answer anything along those lines (I'm not ignoring you, it's just that if I answered them, my marketing and Japan's marketing will hunt me down). But I'll try and answer those that I can.
1. Original TOS Voice Actors: we are trying, but I cannot promise anything. 2. Skits will be voiced (or that is the plan). 3. Font for TOS: it's a variation of a Japanese font called "ι’¨ι²δ½" (we won't be using this one for DNW). 4. Sales date: we're aiming for fall...is all I can say."
And lastly, the perfect guide book for ToDDC will be out by the end of this month (depends on the Japan district). It'll cost 1470 Yen, tax included (that's around $14). The cover is here.

>> New Info and Screens of ToS-R's Localization from IGN
Thanks to Nyanto from our own forums for the heads up, IGN Wii has just released an article focusing on the localization of Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk (a.k.a. Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World). It includes new US gameplay screenshots, plus some more info from Minako Takahashi, the localization manager for the game. Click HERE to go directly to the article.
Aside from that, the coming of the PSP port for Tales of Rebirth is coming pretty soon (March 18th). It's confirmed that there will be new hi-ougi cutins for all of the characters, plus cut-ins for the villains, more back story on Eugene also. The Dramatic DVD preorder bonus has already been confirmed, containing a chat scene with the guys of ToR (Veigue, Mao, Eugene, Tytree, Milhaust, Saleh... Yes, Saleh <3), some video footage of the 2-day Jump Festa, a new trailer for Tales of Vesperia, and an actual Peach Pie recipe (O_o).
As for site updates, they're all here, in my (or should I say, the net cafe's) HD. I'll be putting them all up soon this Sunday. It'll include tons of new official art, fanmade art, avatars, signatures, wallpapers, comics, the new affiliates (I'M SO SORRY FOR THE DELAY), all the ToE the Animation episodes courtesy of kingforte (thank you~), updates for the Tales pages, character info for all the released characters of ToS-R so far, that ToI review and rating, and the ToDDC and ToV sections. And we're also thinking of putting up a new section for the fanbase, but it's still not sure if it'll be out within this weekend. Luckily, school has been a bit easy on me with the BS Biology students' acquaintance party, giving me a lot of excuse to be, um, excused from school XD~

>> New ToS-R Scans + New ToV Interview (Confirmed: XBox360 + US Localization)
Thanks to Kouli, 2 new scans have been revealed for Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk. Nothing much is revealed except for Dex's age (24) and the preorder bonus, which will be another Dramatic DVD.
And thanks to Phantasium from the GameFAQs Forums in this thread, a new Play Magazine interview revealed that Tales of Vesperia really will be for the Xbox360, AND that it will have a localization!! I myself am so excited about this that the first thing tomorrow, I'm going to drop by the bookstore and grab a copy of Play Magazine ^^; Aside from those things, it is confirmed that the hero's name will be Yuri, and the battle system will be an evolved system of TotA's FR-LMBS, called Evolved Flex-Range Linear Motion Battle System. Click the full story to read the whole interview.
Yes, am back (I still have one more exam actually, but it got moved to Monday).
Anyway, thanks to Stryker_Zeta from the Official Tales Forums, we just got a new scan from Weekly Shonen Jump featuring two new characters! They actually already appeared in the previous group art (here), but they weren't introduced properly. The big surprise is that they actually appear before Emil and company as villains first. They will actually fight against Emil and company. No news yet if they really will remain villains.
The first one is the girl who was previously named before thanks to a character sketch from that 10-page Nintendo Power article, Alice. She is introduced as the cheerful (and cute) leader of the Vanguards, who seems to also have control over some monsters. And what's cute is her attacks end with a heart symbol. From the scan, it's obvious that she's a magic user.
Secondly, the guy who we jokingly called as Kratos' and Yuan's illegitimate son, is named Dex (katakana read as dekusu). From what I could make out from the scan, he is also a member of the Vanguards who is quite devoted and loyal (in that sort of way, if you know what I mean) to Alice. From the scan, his weapon seems to be an oversized (and may I add, overdesigned) sword. And his attacks amusingly start with a "D," like in the scan.
And from this article from NintendoWiiFanboy.com, the release date of ToS-R Japanese version will be on April 24th of this year. Many thanks to Lotus from the Tales Forum for pointing this out.
EDIT: Also, if you'll look here, the game has already been rated by CERO as B. That means it's targeted for the 12 and up audience. If you'll notice, the only two Tales games rated as a B are Tales of Innocence and this one. ToI contained a lot of stabbing, so we might see the same here. Haha.
