A new magazine scan reveals new information regarding the upcoming Tales of Graces f for the PlayStation 3. The game is set for a Winter 2010 release and will include the original Tales of Graces plus an after story revolving around six months after the original game's "supposed" ending.
This new scan reveals Richard's new character art with his after story costume. As we mentioned in a previous post, the after story arc will feature new costumes for the rest of the characters aside from Sophie's. And like Sophie, Richard will also be getting a new Blast Caliber. A new system, called "Accel Mode", which is said to give higher attack powers and highly faster spell casting speeds when activated, is also being introduced into the game.
The pre-order bonus for ToG-f will be another Dramatic DVD. Aside from the usual drama skit, the DVD will also include passwords for downloadable content: Custom PS3 themes featuring Asbel, Sophie or Richard's Blast Caliber cut-ins and new costumes for Asbel (Kyle Dunamis from Tales of Destiny 2), Sophie (Rutee Katrea from Tales of Destiny) and Richard (Judas from Tales of Destiny 2). I'm still unsure if the other characters will get their own PS3 themes and costumes.
Lastly, the scan mentions that a playable demo of the game will be available for download from the PlayStation Store starting this September. No specific date was given, though.
A new magazine scan reveals a total of SEVEN new characters available for the upcoming Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3, one of which is an original character similar to Mormo and Paneer of the previous titles and six from previous Tales titles.
The confirmed characters include Loni Dunamis (Tales of Destiny 2), Ange Serena (Tales of Innocence, she is mentioned in the scan as Ad Libitum's leader), Rita Mordio (Tales of Vesperia) and Hisui Hearts (Tales of Hearts). A small screen shot with a description (hard to read and see, but I'm pretty sure what I'm seeing here) mention that both Pasca Kanonno (Radiant Mythology 1) and Kanonno Earhart (Radiant Mythology 2) will be playable. It isn't mentioned if they will be essential parts of the story or if they will be just cameos.
The other character, Rox/Rocks (ロックス, rokkusu), voiced by Hiroki Aiba, is a character quite similar to Mormo and Paneer from the previous titles.
The scan also mentions something about a new system called Radiant Drive, a feature which will allow the consecutive use of artes. More details on this when better scans are out.
The official Tales of Graces f website has finally been opened with new sections, with pages for new game features, game specs, story and characters now available for viewing.
The new game features page discusses about the new post-main game scenario, the new Blast Calibers, Sophie's new costume and the new HD graphics. The story page focuses on the story summaries and descriptions of the world and its main countries (Windol, Strata, Fendel). The character page currently contain only information about Asbel and Sophie, with Sophie's new costume viewable if you click the change button. The pages also have the first character videos for Asbel and for Sophie. They have been uploaded to our YouTube channel, and you can view them there by clicking the thumbnails above. The videos consist of two parts, the first part focuses on the time Asbel was a kid and the latter about the time of his teen years.
4Gamer has also been updated today with 21 new game screen shots of Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 3. The update contains pretty much the same info regarding the game which you can read about here. The only added bit is about the game's story, which is similar to Radiant Mythology 2 in a sense. You, the descender, will fall from the sky in front of Kanonno with no memory of who you are, and the like. Also with the screen shots is a high quality version of Kanonno Grassvalley's artwork plus a little more information about her as well:

4Gamer has been updated with four high quality versions of the previously released art for the upcoming 15 Tales Series Anniversary Title for the PS3. The images have been added to our gallery, or you can click the thumbnails above to view them.
This week, with the release of Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon X, the game ranks first in the weekly game sales rankings done by Enterbrain and Media Create, pushing down other popular games such as Hatsune Miku - Project DIVA 2nd and Sengoku BASARA 3 down the board. Though this is to be expected on the game's release week, the numbers are far greater compared to how some Tales games did on their first week (namely ToVS, ToV 360 and ToI). Though it doesn't rival the other titles such as ToH and RM2, the figures are still looking quite good.
I've been playing the game myself, and it's proving to be quite fun. To those who haven't seen the game's opening, we've uploaded it to our YouTube channel a few days ago. To those interested, ToPNDX is still for sale in Play-Asia (Asian Version).
I'd like to take this post to announce (to those who haven't noticed yet) that AC now has its own official Facebook page. We're basically just using it in a similar way as we use our Twitter: for spreading Tales news. You'll find links of recent news posts on the homepage also in our FB page. To those who don't like Facebook, well I don't particularly like it too, but you know how it is. All your friends have an FB account, they pressure you to have one too, etc. -random rambling-. And guys, as much as I don't really like social networking sites, many of our professors even use it as a means of transferring lecture notes and homework to students, as well as informing us of school events and the like, so please, if you're going to hate on it, then hate on it somewhere else.
